II received by doctorate in psychology in 1978. I have experience in a number of different settings including community mental health centers, corrections (youth and adult), psychiatric hospitals, and behavioral health, and long term care. In one word, my approach is "person centered" relying on empathic listening, collaboration, and supporting autonomy to help a person process, let go or modify thoughts and feelings, or make changes to improve life and relationships.
