Overview

I practiced as an RN for over 30 years on my Diploma, working Medsurg/ICU/Neurosurgery/Emergency Department/open hearts. I travelled about this country and Canada, experiencing many different cultures. I returned for my FNP and Masters degree and accomplished this about 11 years ago. I practiced as an FNP for 6 years, and realized that most Behavioral health patients actually seek help from their family practitioner. I then returned for a post Master's degree as a PMHNP. In the past 3-4 years, I saw more than 55% of my patients as psychiatric patients, but also took care of their physical needs. I am a good listener, and mainly use CBT in my counseling sessions, and also prescribe.

Sessions are available in person at partner facilities and via secure telehealth, so care fits the realities of each patient's day.
