Overview
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the fields of domestic violence, residential and inpatient treatment, individual/family/group therapy, trauma, LGBTQ+, HIV mental health, behavioral health consulting, and psychiatric social work. I firmly believe in peoples' capacity to uncover their inherent strengths, and have found that psychotherapy can help us heal, clarify our values, provide insight, empower us to face challenges, and inspire us to grow. Importantly, my strong commitment to evidence-based treatment focuses less on coping skills and more on solution skills. To this end, my therapeutic approach employs creative, nonjudgmental, and sensitive use of honesty, empathy, confrontation, exploration, and action assignments that contribute to meaningful change in peoples' lives.
Sessions are available in person at partner facilities and via secure telehealth, so care fits the realities of each patient's day.
